Your Mind is never silent ... from Afzal Ahmed Syed

Sitting in prayers and reciting verses mechanically, simply makes you forget the "self" for sometime. You sit for hours because you don't want to go back into that world of desires, thoughts, mundane activities, work etc, you choose a way to escape from the world by adding a label called "religion" on your limited box of consciousness.

Also you are seeking for security, for something to happen to you, a change in your being that would make you close to God, but there is no spiritual experience at all. You pray and recite more, for many hours because you are trying to make a spiritual connection. You have a belief that this activity is moving you close to Him, but are you actually experiencing it ?? Yes, you might experience peace, a glow in your personality and love towards Him, but the moment you don't perform religious practices for sometime, you are back to your "self" again, with same thoughts, desires etc.

Your mind is never silent, because it needs something to keep itself busy and stay in tuned with the world. Your mind loves making you addicted, so that you lose sense with the Reality. It uses everything that you know of, so that you can get attached to it and keep the traffic of thoughts busy. Isn't it better to stop the flow of traffic, by completely annihilating the 'self', rather than losing yourself completely in its pace??

One must get out of that box of consciousness, eliminate its contents completely and not add labels and images to it. For something "extraordinary" to come into you, you need to get out this conditioned and ordinary self... When the walls of this box are broken, you merge in Him. You become Him..

There is a seed of divinity inside you, experience it and let that seed grow into a plant, by watering it with silence and awareness. How this seeds transforms itself into a beautiful plant is miraculous, it happens by the Supreme Light.. and this Light will keep the plant alive till eternity. Do not go into the intricate details of this transformation. For now just let the seed grow and don't let the outside pollution affect its growth.

The Seeker’s Prayer

“O Parvardigar,

The preserver and protector of All,

You are without Beginning and without End,

Non-dual, beyond comparison and none can measure You.

You are unlimited and unfathomable, beyond imagination and

Conception, eternal and imperishable.

You are indivisible and none can see You, but with eyes divine.

You always were, you always are and You always will be,

You are everywhere, You are in everything, and you are also

beyond everywhere and beyond everything.

You are in the firmament and depths;

You are manifest and unmanifest,

On all planes and beyond all planes.

You are in the three worlds and beyond the three worlds;

You are imperceptible and independent.

You are the creator, the Lord of Lords,

The knower of all minds and hearts;

You are Omnipotent and Omnipresent.

You are knowledge infinite, Power Infinite and Bliss Infinite;

The reality!

" Nothing in this world stays forever; everything that has come will go!

The only constant thing in this world is impermanence, for what has come, has to go. While most beings spend their lives building a home, looking for a secure life and family to live in, the fact is everything is temporary. For life is a cycle of constant construction and destruction, way beyond human control.

This physical body that clothes our soul is very fragile. To secure it, human beings spend their lives garnering material wealth and comforts, which in turn bring along so much suffering and pain.

For all the materials in this world can't help you get inner peace or show you the path to "The One".

While the air we breathe keeps us going, it is only a matter of time, our bewildered hearts will stop beating , as we are all in one big queue to meet the maker. The path is already set, and all we do in life, is create stumbling blocks, that makes the journey difficult.

At the end of it all if we realize that our bodies are just a mix of elements like earth, water and air. And that all the knowledge in the world cannot lead us to the true meaning of life...that the true happiness lies within us.

No impermanent vehicle in life can help us sail through the oceans of our existence smoothly, to sail smoothly till the end.

It is imperative that we surrender to the Almighty and let him guide our souls. Thinking that we control our destinies is foolishness; we can't create or destroy anything, all that happens is a matter of His will."

Dear Friends, 
Blessed we are for those Divine-Gifts downloaded from the Source, at the Bangalore-Retreat held from 24th–27th aug. 

The soul stirring experiences and tears of Bliss that flowed will be cherished all your life and I must share with you few of my thoughts as under:

• Accept Lord’s will to prevail and surrender to Him in full trust. He is the Lord of Light who loves you more than you love yourself. Knows about you more than you know of yourself.

• Remember Him always by chanting His name continuously awake and asleep, day in and day out. Only His name has the substance of Might & Light.

• Seek His Grace, His protection, His blessings, His mercy, His nearness and offer Him thanks for all His favors that you can never recall and reckon.

• He is the one who made you experience the Heart-flame Meditation to seek His Grace; He is the one who sent to you Hazrath and Mahavatar Babaji to enrich your souls.

• And He is your Lord of Light who called you to astral realms to reveal few of His secrets of creation. He is the one who made your auras turn golden and empowered your spirits in Cave of creation.

• Stop pampering your lower (animal) self, instead keep focusing the Angel within the Heart. Your lower self feeds on the energy of Ego; keeps you engaged with carnal appetites; blocks your spiritual progress. It is the friend of your Enemy and Enemy of your Lord. Beware of it always.

• The enemy of darkness cannot influence you when your heart gets purified. So awaken that Golden angel within, since you know now the secret of hearts.

Blessed you are; Blessed you are again since you purified your hearts and released negative karmas once for ever.

Please keep practicing Divine-Light Meditations especially the ‘Heart Flame Meditation’ to seek His Grace. With His Grace in life, you are undoubtedly the richest soul on this planet Earth. Be Divinely Blessed, O the seeker of Light!
